DAOL (THAILAND) consists of DAOL (THAILAND) PUBLIC COMPANY LIMITED, DAOL SECURITIES (THAILAND) PUBLIC COMPANY LIMITED, DAOL INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT COMPANY LIMITED, DAOL REIT MANAGEMENT (THAILAND) COMPANY LIMITED, and DAOL LEND (THAILAND) COMPANY LIMITED, which each company is the company under supervision of the Securities and Exchange Commission, Thailand, Anti-money Laundering Office, and Bank of Thailand.

 

We would like to inform you that currently, there is a group of scammers pretending to be employees of the company or using the name of DAOL (THAILAND) to advertise and offer loans and/or deceive into investment fraud and/or request the target to pay fees such as supervision fees via online platforms such as  Website, Facebook and Line, including sending SMS messages to your mobile phone number attached contact channels such as personal Line account, Line Official account, email and/or phone number.

 

We would like to inform you that neither the company under DAOL (THAILAND) was involved in any actions of the scammers. We also would like to remind you to be careful not to transfer money to a bank account registered under the name of an individual or any juristic person other than the name of DAOL (THAILAND).

 

 

Examples of scammers' tricks

• Scammers claim themselves to be employees of the company and send “fake employees ID cards" pretending to be investment advisors, accounting officers, and etc.
• Scammers send fake documents with the name or logo of the company and/or the reliable organization or agency and the name and the signature of the executive of the group company e.g., loan contract and/or company certification to make the target believe that is a legitimate service.
• Scammers will offer loans and ask you to transfer money into the Scammers' bank account to verify account ownership and verify your identity or require you to pay various fees, such as fees for opening a securities trading account, fees payable to the Stock Exchange of Thailand, and fees of supervision. Scammers will notify you to transfer money various times until you realize that you have been scammed.

Observation to protect yourself from personal loans or investment fraud scams.

• The group of companies does not offer "Personal loans" broadcasting through the website and social platforms and does not require any deposit to verify account ownership or client identity. We also do not allow our employees to initiate any contact with clients via online channels (Line, Facebook, Messenger).
• The group of companies does not have the policy to charge any fees from clients especially "supervision fees" from the Group's service. And we do not have the policy to transfer money to any individual’s or juristic person’s bank account.
• The bank account for receiving any money of the group company must be the company name only, not under the name of the other person's bank account. Please do not transfer money to any individual's or juristic person's bank account.
• If you suspect that you are connecting with the scammer, please contact with DAOL Contact Center at 0 2351 1800 press 1 from 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Monday-Friday (except public holidays) or contact Line Official @daolsec or DAOL Facebook Fanpage.
• We request your cooperation in sending the details of scamming to an email : contactcenter@daol.co.th .

 

If you have already transferred money to scammers. We advise you to notify the information of money transfer to your bank to ask the bank to issue a Bank Code ID and for you to report such evidence to CYBER CRIME INVESTIGATION BUREAU.
